Channing enjoys building culturally responsive classrooms rooted in community care. Students thrive in environments where structure, love and trust work together to create an environment where student progress is centered and celebrated.
As a distinguished educator Channing provides mentorship and coaching for educators looking to transform their passion and purpose into transformative results. She believes that success is rooted in a culture of care and rigor in your classroom. All Educators deserve to exist in environments aligned to their core values and purpose. Educators must center their needs and nourish their wellness. By living a balanced life, they can thrive in all education spaces. Teachers have a right to change their mind, change careers, think of themselves first and speak out about injustices.
Teachers are humans first. But too many teachers — BIPOC teachers and teachers with limited experiences — are getting a career that falls far short and their overall teacher vitality suffers.
Building culturally courageous classrooms combats this fatigue.
Students are encouraged to problem solve and critically think about information and how it relates to their positions in the world, motivate teachers to sustain through tough times. Honest dialogue invites critical conversations and will help strengthen the value of learning and growth as a messy and unpredictable voyage.

We know solutions are not one size fits all and each school will have unique needs.
To help support inequitable patterns, we provide sustainable solutions for upper elementary teachers who are in need of a thriving classroom culture rooted in equitable practices.
We will we work alongside educators, advocates, and stakeholders to identify causes of the culture crash, lack of wellness support and inhumane expectations of teachers across the nation.
We will lock arms, in partnership, to promote sustainable practices that will help retain teachers and create mentally well spaces, where thriving is the norm.
